Armenian specialists play a significant role in the creation of mobile applications, says Mariam Davtyan, Director of the Regional Mobile Application Laboratory for ECA (Eastern Europe-South Caucasus-Central Asia).
Mobile App Expo will host over 50 mobile businesses, presenting their companies, applications, products and solutions: games, enterprise solutions, business apps, entertainment, lifestyle and social apps developed for local and global markets.
“The best ideas will receive a 70 thousand euro investment,” Director of the Microsoft Innovation Center in Armenia, Eva Hyusyan, told reporters.
The aim of the event is to bring together the mobile app ecosystem’s key players, including developers, mobile marketers, mobile operators, device manufacturers, serial entrepreneurs, and industry professionals and showcase the apps developed in Armenia and Eastern Europe. The event will host 300 industry representatives and over a thousand visitors.
Interactive workshops, presentations, game contests, and entertainment events will accompany the exhibition. Visitors will be able to test apps, join workshops, and compete in contests.
The best startups will have a chance to pitch their ideas to Russian investment firm Imperious Group and Armenia-based Granatus Ventures.
