Dear fellow Armenians in Sydney,
The siege of the Republic of Artsakh reached a sad milestone on 18 August - 120,000 people, including 30,000 children, 20,000
elderly and 9,000 people with disability have been held hostage for 250 days by the petro-dictatorship of Azerbaijan.
The Aliyev regime has and continues to defiantly ignore the decision of the International Court of Justice and all civilised nations and human rights organisations to open the Lachin corridor as per it's signed tripartite agreement of November 9 2020.
At the behest of the President of the Republic of Artsakh for a worldwide response from Armenian communities, the AR Representative's Office in Australia has organised a protest march in
Sydney on Friday, 1 September 2023.
We ask our compatriots in Sydney, to join us so we can make our united voices heard by our government in Canberra.
We will begin our march from the Offices of the Australian Red Cross to thank the ICRC for their continued efforts to assist the population in Artsakh and urge them to increase their involvement despite all efforts by Azerbaijan to derail their humanitarian mission in our homeland.
