Kaylar Michaelian says Thank You

SYDNEY: Former Principal of Galstaun College, Kaylar Michaelian, has expressed words of thanks after his farewell held at the school earlier this month. The full text is below:

"Words cannot express my gratitude to the parents, friends, community members, students and alumni who gathered at Galstaun College on 6 February, 2011 to bid farewell to me as I ended my tenure as principal at the college after 13 years of service to my students and my community.

In particular, I thank the Galstaun College Alumni Association for organising the farewell barbecue. The genuine love and respect of students, past and present, whom I have had the privilege to guide and teach is one of the greatest treasures I cherish daily in my life.

My sincere thanks to all who through their gifts, expressions of gratitude and well wishes added to a memorable day for my family and me."
