Earlier, on Sunday, in the Nor Gyugh Armenian neighborhood of Aleppo, Hakob Grtanian, who was serving in a volunteer group together with the Syrian army, was reportedly killed. He died when an improvised explosive device detonated near his team.
Since early May, more than a dozen Armenians have been injured in Aleppo. According to the report of the UN, during the three-year conflict in Syria, the death toll exceeds 130 thousand. The number of Armenians killed is estimated at 100.
