SYDNEY: 21-year-old Sydney Armenian singer Mher Balian received a standing ovation in his X-Factor Australia audition, which screened on Channel 7 on Tuesday evening.
Balian, who sang Kilikia at the 24 April Armenian Genocide Commemoration Evening earlier this year, earned 'yes' votes from all four judges on the panel for his rendition of 'You Raise Me Up' and will take part in the 'bootcamp' phase of the competition.
