RIP - Sophie Galstaun

SYDNEY: The Armenian-Australian community is grieving the sad loss of benefactor Sophie Galstaun, who passed away on Monday 7 February.Sophie and her husband Arshak Galstaun, who passed away in 2008, are the founding benefactors of the Sydney Armenian community's largest day school, duly named Hamazkaine Arshak and Sophie Galstaun College (Galstaun College for short). The Galstauns also supported countless community organisations and facilities over past decades.
The Armenian Revolutionary Federation Tro Committee, its members and its sub-committees, the Hamazkaine Regional Committee and all its chapters, the Armenian Relief Society Regional Committee and all its chapters, the Homenetmen Regional Committee and all its chapters, pass on their condolences to Sophie Galstaun's family and loved ones.
The funeral of Sophie Galstaun will take place on Friday 11 February, from 2pm at the Armenian Apostolic Church in Chatswood.
