SYDNEY: Julia Banbekian and Natasha Keosseian of Homenetmen Antranig 2nd Willoughby Cub Scouts were presented with their Grey Wolf Award last month. The presentation was made by Regional Commissioner of Cub Scouts Maureen Twin who said the square yellow badge recognised their dedication to scouting.

“Julia and Natasha didn’t win the badge, they earned it and they earned it through a lot of hard work” Regional Commissioner Twin said.

“A lot of you (cubs) will aspire to the Grey Wolf badge but not all of you will earn it”.

The Grey Wolf is the highest honour that can be achieved in cubs and is gained only by keen youth, who are prepared to work hard. To achieve this award, the cubs had to plan and lead a two-hour bushwalk, attend overnight camps and complete a list of badge work.

Homenetmen Antranig Scouts congratulates Julia and Natasha on this achievement.
